Well The clock is now ticking and it's almost moving day. I have been selling furniture and packing the final boxes preparing for my "Big Adventure" I have a possible job opportunity in Bend at a Veterinary Clinic and I am going early to have a working interview with them. My last day at my current job is February 25th and will be leaving on the 27th. My best friend Sheri is going to fly down and we will be driving the U-Haul to Bend together. Weather permitting we will be there in 2 days. It sort of feels real but I don't think it has hit me yet, so with only 17 days to go my emotions are all over the board. :} I will be posting the trip north as soon as I get settled and have my computer set up.
The whole Robertson family came down this weekend for a surprise birthday party for John's sister Terri. It was a short visit but very good to see them all. It will be nice to be closer all the time very soon.
I am still missing Kelly, Nathan, Judah and Eli very much and looking forward to the day when I can go visit them in Mississippi. Kelly is expecting again and is due to deliver around September 7th. I am hoping for a little girl this time but of course will be thrilled with another boy. This will be 3 new babies this year for my family!! Two new grand babies for my sister Julie and one for me. Very exciting!!
Kimberly started off the new year in her first house. It is in Indio and she is thrilled, jumping feet first into home ownership, decorating and fixing it up. I am going to see it in a week or so.I am so happy for her.
Kaitlyn is working hard as a Junior being home schooled and looking for a job along the way. She has gained great confidence in driving and loves the freedom it gives her. Her love for Disney ( MIckey Mouse) continues in force and I have no doubt this will someday be a contributor in her career field.
Shawn is testing the waters at college and seems to like it so far. He is still working part time at Legoland but is hoping for more hours soon. He is still trying to finalize his plans for the end of the month when I leave and I am trying to not stress about his plans or his lack thereof. :(
Take Care and stay tuned. Love Margi
